South East Archaeology Pty Limited has provided
services in Aboriginal archaeology and heritage throughout eastern Australia
for the past fifteen years. Under
the guidance of its Managing Director, Peter Kuskie, over 200 Aboriginal
heritage assessment projects have been completed within New South Wales,
Queensland, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory and
South Australia.

Preparation of DEC (NPWS) Section 90 Consent and Section 87
Research Permit applications;

Major projects completed include:

Survey and extensive salvage excavations at the 37 square
kilometre Mount Arthur North Coal Mine, Hunter Valley (URS Australia, BHP
Billiton);

Survey of the 740 kilometre long Eastern Gas Pipeline, from Longford, Victoria,
to Wilton,
NSW (Eastern Gas Pipeline Project Ltd);
q
Extensive salvage excavations along the F3 Freeway (Roads and
Traffic Authority of NSW), at The Dairy residential development, Ulladulla
(Elderslie Property Investments Pty Ltd) and at Lemington Mine (Lemington
Coal Mines Ltd); and
q
Test excavations at numerous locations in the Hunter Valley
and South Coast regions.
South East Archaeology maintains an excellent working
relationship with many Aboriginal communities throughout eastern Australia
and a commitment to working in partnership with Aboriginal people in
investigating and managing their heritage.
